Information
Formed in 2012 by the merger of several oil companies in the former Qatar, Bahrain, the AHPC have taken recently merged with oil companies in the UAE as of July 2012. The APC is a state owned oil company and manages the majority of oil fields and refineries in the Arab Republic.

The state own Arab Petroleum Corporation, has begun to increase oil production in an effort to return oil production in the region to normal.

Due to the unrest in the Arab Republic, oil production levels have dropped by 0.3 %. A press release from the Minister of Oil and Energy, Nizar Muhammad al-Husayn, ensures the world that this drop is only temporary and oil production levels will resume to normal levels within a week.

Due to the ongoing civil war, oil production has almost halfed, either due to oil installations falling into the hands of the PIFA or due to sabotage and military attacks. The Arab Republic urge the world to impose an oil embargo on the so-called PIFA Government in Doha.

With an end to the insurgency, the oil production in the Arab Republic slowly recovers, but the Ministry of Oil & Energy has announced that oil prices will remain at their current levels.
