Southern Division:

Champions Cup - Current champions: FC Vienna 01

The Kaiser's cup is played for by the two teams with the best regular season record, regardless of division. The Champion's Cup is awarded to the winners of the post-season playoffs. Playoffs are formatted so that the top three teams from each division go and the top team in each division gets a first round bye.

FC Vienna 01 Loses Second Since Call-up

Last week Adi Schwarz was called up to the Austrian national team to participate in mandatory workouts, thus putting a large hole in the Vienna defense. Since the call-up the "Boys in Orange" have allowed an average of 3 goals per game without their stonewall keeper, whose total goals allowed in 20 games equal only 7. With one forth of the season behind them, and more season to go, hopefully they can rally while their leader is away.

Austria to Host European Champions Cup

Today it was announced that Austria is to host the European Champions Cup, the battle for supremacy among the champions of each domestic league. Obviously, FC Austria 01, the "Boys in Orange" from Vienna, will be the Austrian representatives in this tournament.
