Germany, you clearly haven't read our last letter to you about your EU membership application. That communique stated that as long as Germany is part of EFTO (and as far as we know, this is still the case), your nation will not be allowed to enter the European Union. We also value the point made by the Commonwealth of Denmark. You haven't attempted at all so far to end hostilities yourself, other states always have to take the first step. Therefore your application will be denied once again and I don't want to see a new application only within days. As long as your relationship with other memberstates has not improved, you will NOT be allowed back in.

Russia, my excuses for the late reply, but you are now allowed to send an observer to the EU. Concerning membership in the future, I'd advise you to stabilize the situation in your own country and try to improve your relations with neighbouring countries.

Regno delle Tre Sicilie, I thank you for the provided information and welcome you to the EU.

H. Sienkiewicz
EU President

Our Czech Socialist Republic views the Austrian application to the EU with suspicion as too little is known about the country at this time.

Austria, we do not like being pushed. None of our decisions are being made with haste. We are first examining your case before you'll be getting an answer.

Denmark echos the Czech Socialist Republic's concerns and states that until the EU Parliament can decide on the fate of Austria's entrance into the European Union.  Our governments must collectively decide whether or not Austria is worthy of entering our great establishment.

Alsace removes its application for observer status in the European Union.  We find that this directly violates our beloved neutrality.

Denmark is gravely concerned by Alsace's seemingly immediate disenfranchising of their delegations within the African Union and the European Union.  This is providing a greater divide between the Danes trust of the Alsaciens.

The new administration of the Confédération Alsacien would like to reapply for membership into the European Union.

OOC: Since Denmark essentially is required to wipe all knowledge of Alsace clean since a new player is running it, we can only assume that a new government is taking over.

IC: Denmark approves of this measure as well and would be more than delighted to see the Confederation in the European Union.  Such great banking facilities will come in handy for the Europeans as we open more political trade with your nation!

Alsace, we would like to welcome you to the EU.

To the other nations that applied,

an answer to you will be given as soon as possible.

OOC: I'm sorry if you have to wait longer to get a reply, but I'm quite busy lately and don't always have the chance to discuss new admissions with the others.
