The Catholic Bishops in Russia and Romania have sent a letter to other bishops in the world, were they say that the pope have gone to far this time in allowing a "Living Saint", in the letter they demand that the pope resign or go into exile.
The Bishops want a council were they can discuss the question of a "primacy" of the pope or if in fact the Catholic church should be goverened by a council of bishops like the orthodox is. This would reduce the popes role to what it was before 1056 and transfer more power to the bishops.
Bishops around the world are invited to Romania and a conference on the pope and the future of the church.

The Bishop of Jerusalem and his followers denounce the Orthodox move. It is clear to us that the leaders of the Orthodox Church have never actually read the Holy Book and are clearly unfit to comment on anything regarding faith, let alone the status of the Holy Father.
The Bishop of Jerusalem would like to call upon the Pope to excommunicate the current leadership of the Orthodox Church in the hopes they may yet be replaced by someone not driven by ignorance and personal gain.

ooc: that orthodox church were ex-communicated by the pope in 1056, and before that the church were goverened by a council of bishops (the Patriarcs), But since the Rome bishop taught that his primacy would allow him to tell every one what to do the other ones got upset.
The relations dident get better when the pope sponsored a crusade against Constantinople.

AP Reuters Breaking News Helsinki
Late last night in Helsinki, Finland, it was discovered that Finnish Prime Minister Jutta Urpilainen was missing from her house in Kruununhaka, a neighbourhood of the city, apparently not returning from her evening run in the Esplanadi Park, from where it is believed she was kidnapped.
Both Helsinki City Police and Suojelupoliisi (SUPO) officers arrived on the scene of the abduction to discover that her two bodyguards had been shot dead and tyre tracks belonging to an unknown vehicle, probably a van or large SUV. There has been no ransom demand and no major organisation has claimed responsibility for the abduction.
Her husband, Juha Mustonen , on behalf of her family released this statement: “We are all very worried for Jutta’s safety and we ask that whoever took her please release her back to her family. We are willing to pay a ransom demand and ask for her safe return. We do not want an escalation of violence and instead ask for her peaceful return. The children sorely miss their mother and I miss my wife. I ask that these people who took her turn themselves in and end this nightmare.”
Politically, the kidnapping of a prime minister has far-reaching ramifications, particularly as an election was recently scheduled. Since the party to which the deputy Prime Minister belonged resigned from government, the premiership falls to Stefan Willan of the Swedish People’s Party (SFP), who has pledged all possible support in order to find the kidnappers. He also released this statement at a press conference: “With the kidnapping of a prime minister, these criminals show that they hold the law and the people of Finland in true contempt. No expense will be spared and all support is offered in order to find Prime Minister Urpilainen and restore common decency to Finland.”
This abduction comes at a testing time for the SDP and their coalition government, besieged on all sides by radical extremists of the left and right, and suffering substantial declines in the opinion polls because of unpopular domestic policies. Already, both the right-wing IKL and the left-wing SDKL have clashed in running street battles, leaving many wounded and even dead. The growing fear is of a similar episode to the Finnish Civil War, in which thousands died in politically motivated bloodshed. One is clear though: without a strong demonstration of leadership by Willan, it is likely that the coalition will fall.

HOE press service The recent events in Finland are disturbing a goverment official commented earlier today, he also expressed worries that the events could have something to do with the LU and their agents. "Should Finland have a coup, we would have to send a representative to see if it affects the treaty signed between Finland and the HOE.

AP-St Petersburg
Early this morning HOE troops were attacked in the Der Jiddisher Shtat Odessa by what is probably jewish communist rebels, who recently have gotten more and more support from foreign nations. Units stationed in Krim, Kiev and various other places were attacked along with some orthodox jewish synagogues.
Former Marshall of Russia, Lev Putin is said to have been assaulted and are currently is hospital, the attack have sparked rioting and looting from the Jewish states Cossac population. The Emperor have ordered the units of the armoured forces in the area, along with the Jewish courts to restore order.
HOE troops are to seize key areas and cities and quell the uprising, the Der Jiddisher Shtat Odessa will then seize to exist and be reclaimed as the area of Ukraina in the HOE.
Patrols have begun in the border regions of Chezak to stop any influx of units and supplies to the rebels and its not impossible that there will be a "safety" corridor along the border to prevent criminals from crossing.

AP - Budapest
Refugees Turned Away in Wake of Violence The recently resumed violence in the long silenced nation of Czechak has brought a flood of refugees streaming for the Austrian border. As of yesterday morning, the Kaiser has issued a state of emergency along that border and has issued a number of reserve troops, police forces and border patrols to seal off any passage into the Empire. A number of violent crimes have been reported since the growing number of refugee camps have littered the border including an incident last week when a Hungarian man shot an entire family of refugees as they crossed the border. Protests have been rising across the nation, citizens pleaing for the Kaiser to intervene, but he has stated that unless Austria's homeland is invaded no troops will be committed to such an operation.
Austrian charity and aid organizations have established a number of camps along the border for any who do manage to get through so that they may receive proper medical attention.

"...With the African operation now calm for the NEXUS, Hobbeebian forces in the area have been ordered to Hold position and begin humanitarian efforts for those now under Hobbeebian rule. A Governor has been selected to maintain control of the area and has begun to rasie an colonial protection force from current residents allowing the Imperial Army to focus on getting rested and returned home. Hobbeebian military officials have confirmed that weapons and equipment is begin shipped to the new colony to help the new Colonial Protection Forces with training and preperation as well as training to bring them in line current military standards.
The current timeline for return is set for a one month cycle of aerial and naval exit plan in which troops will leave and civilian construction crews come in taking the work of rebuilding, structural improvements, fortifications, and general overall infrastructure improvement.
With Hobbeebia's military now gearing down and coming home the Imperial Senate has begun talking about realocating funds to the Orbital Space Station project. As of now the project is recieving funding from cut in the Parks and Service, and Forgien Aid budgets. With military spending slowly lowering back to peace-time levels the Senate is sure that those funds will rapidly increase moral and research speed on the project..."

AP Reuters Special Report | Finland's Long Road Back
In a meeting shrouded in secrecy and security, the Second Finnish Civil War came to an abrupt end after key figures on each side signed a peace treaty that aims to quickly rectify the damage done to the nascent democracy; the restoration of a parliamentary democracy is atop Interim Prime Minister Stefan Wallin’s list.
There, though, is where the problem lies as no matter the constitution of the next government it will undoubtedly comprise either the IKL or the SKP – the two warring factions in the Civil War. Neither party is pleased that the other is to participate in the election and many on the left have berated Wallin for allowing the IKL to participate, seeing that they instigated the Civil War by seceding Lapland from the Finnish Republic.
Further complicating matters is the Russian precondition that Finland must transition to a constitutional monarchy with Prince Philipp von Hessen becoming King. However, crowning Phillip von Hessen as King is fraught with difficulties because not only is he a German-born prince who displeases pro-Finnish patriots but also, and more importantly, von Hessen supported the IKL throughout the Civil War and before, lending them legitimacy. However, von Hessen has recently announced that his support of the IKL was only as long as they remained a legitimate and pro-democratic party. Despite his obvious problems, support for the restoration of the Finnish monarchy remains high, particularly in rural areas. Von Hessen has also promised to respect and uphold Finnish law; including removing himself from politics if necessary should he become King.
President S. V. Niinistö is in favour of the monarchy, surprisingly considering how his office of President would be negated if von Hessen were crowned, as are many senior figures within the Wallin government, including Wallin himself. The key opponents of monarchism are within the left of the SDP and among the SKP and SYP (Socialist Unity Party) though Yrjö Hanaken, leader of the SKP, has stated that he will “support any measure that brings about peace and stability for Finland” and though “a monarchy is diametrically opposed to the ideals of the SKP, we [the SKP] will only challenge it by legal means”.
Further problems relating to the economy and to foreign affairs, including tensions with Russia, will also test the new government as they tested the previous one. The extent of the role the Russians will play in Finland’s internal affairs is certain to be at the forefront of this, as Russian peacekeepers maintain a heavy presence within Finland and there is a Russian naval base on Eckerö (Ekkerö) in the Åland Islands. None of the major parties support a Russian presence in Finnish affairs, though the naval base on Eckerö is a moot point (serving as an exchange for Viipuri), but once again a delicate balance is needed for whomever wins the upcoming election as they will need to not alienate both of Finland’s larger neighbours to the east and west.
However, despite all of these problems facing the new Finnish government, there is hope for a rebirth of the Finnish nation. Patriotism, transcending party lines, and confidence in the nation, is at an all-time high, as is a desire to unite all Finnic peoples in a grand union. Consumer confidence, though suffering from wartime restrictions, remains good. Yet, it remains to be seen how far this nation can go on hope alone.
