Equestrian sports are very popular among the Turkic nations of Central Asia. The most "traditional" (and certainly the most unique) sport common to all ethnic groups of Jade Provinces  is Buzkashi.
Buzkashi (which means, literally, "dragging the goat") is a sport involving strenuous bodily exertion. In this game, the carcass of a goat is dragged by horsemen who grab it from each other. The aim of the riders is to deposit the carcass in a designated circle in front of the guest of honor. Buzkashi is also often performed as part of the Nawruz (New Year's) celebrations.

Other sports involving the horse are Horse Racing and Polo. Falconry while on horseback is another part of central asian culture that has been practiced for centuries. In addition to falcons, golden eagles are also trained for the sport.

While less traditional, Football (Soccer for US speakers) became widely popular during the soviet times and today is the number-one team and spectator sport and the most popular sport among boys, while women usually prefer softball and volleyball.

Panem only has one sport: The Bloodlust Games. Each year, the Bloodlust Games are overseen by the Head Gamemaker of Panem and are allowed to occur on assent from the High Chancellory.

The Bloodlust Games consist of a mandatory reaping which provides 2 tributes from each district in Panem with the exception of Lux et Veritas, Capitol District 1 and Executatum, Death District 8.

During the Bloodlust Games, the tributes will fight to the death. The last tribute standing will be named the Victor of the Games, given a special house in their District's Victor's Village, a salary consisting of ₣750000 (~$225,000 USD) annually, and their district will receive food supplies for one year.

The Bloodlust Games only allows tributes between the ages of twelve and eighteen. At no time, may a child older or younger be part of the Games.

In order to be eligible for the Bloodlust Games, you must have one vote in the Reaping. If you have more than one vote, you have used your tesserae (₣). Participation is mandatory.
