AUSC elections Aug-Jan
« on: July 15, 2008, 06:27:47 PM »
This is the thread for the AUSC elections from the 1st of August and ends the last day of January. Any nation may run as long as they are a member of the AU.

All nations may vote for 2 nations of their choice and one of these two votes may be for your own nation as well.

The responsibility of the AUSC lies with the voting on resolutions that look after the safety of the whole of Africa and the AU.

Nations eligable:

Glashima
C.R.A.
U.F.S.
Maxfrica
Aksum

OOC: If you are missing from the list let me know via PM and do not post it here as you can clutter the thread that way.

The Confederate Republics of Africa would like to vote for ourselves and one vote to Glashima if they decide to run, and if they do not decide to run, that vote shall go to Askum, in the event our bid for the position of AUSG is lost, and if it is not we would like to give both votes to Glashima if they shall decide to run, and if they do not decide to run, we would like to give both votes to Askum.

Askum would like to voice their support for the CRA and Mfasaland, two great nations that either will make the AUSC as fine, maybe finer, so we hereby vote for both nations.

In the event that CRA wins the AUSG vote you must place your other vote for a different nation. Perhaps you should for yourself, it would be a good way to get some political experience. After the UFS attack you deserve to have a seat, so consider it.

We will only vote ourselves if CRA wins the AUSG seat.

OOC: I just realized, Mfasaland is in the Southern Sub-region.

After closer geographical knowledge, Aksum is forced to change one vote to itself.

Glashima thanks CRA for its amazing support but also realizes a chance of serving in the AUSC council is bleak based on its subregion relations. The Victoria League has the ability to focus on empowering its own members, and that is by no means a bad thing. Make sure you look after yourselves before looking after others.
