The United Finjin States invades Nigeria

The UFS has recently invaded Nigeria. Warlordia has declared war on the UFS, for invading a new state. The Government has announced no position on the situation.

Musical Nation?

Aksum appears to be a new battleground of a different kind of war. The war of music and lyrics. In today's culture there huge new bands, groups, and soloists sprouting up each from their genre seems to have it's own region of Aksum. Many hip-hop and rap groups and artists are from and forming in former Somalia. Some major artist from the area are T-Muck, Little Fry, and BiT.Net. In the Eritrea and Djibouti area are pop soloists. <3lands and Tucker Michael are the biggest of the groups from the area. In the Yemen area there is a huge movement of a country-style music. The biggest groups in this area are Kameer Buddy(currently undergoing a lawsuit for a TMed name), Yemen Heights, Sasha Inuti, and Ric Charles. In the Eithopia area is a giant attack, which we believe was spawned as a anti-pop music. It is known as steel rock. The biggest groups are Afrika, NoNameNeeded, and Solemnly Loud. Which brand of music is the best? It's up for you to decide.

War with the UFS
Late yesterday night, Aksumite men advanced into Finjin Yemen. An hour after that the government declared war on the UFS. Small Warlordian garrisons have been sent to Aksum. All fishermen are warned to only fish in the Red Sea, not the Sea of Eden for fear of Finjin ships. If you see any Finjin troops, not civilians, report it immediately to local authorities.

The Victorian League
Aksum has recently joined the Victorian League. Now it consists of The Kingdom Mfasaland, and The Confederate Republics of Africa, now with the Republic of Aksum. Although the rest of the Victorian League is not, and most likely will not get involved in the war any in way, the fact that they're there will help the people.

The War Goes On
Finjin forces have engaged Amksumite troops as our forces advanced into Oman. Finjin forces in the area seem untrained, and Aksumite casualties and minimum at most. The war shouldn't last much longer. If you have any donations to our troops, send them to your town officials so the war may end even sooner.

Ethiopia
Pressures are drawing up by Addis Abada. The United Kingdom of Ethiopia has set up defenses, trained men, and land mines all along the border, mainly around Addis Abada. Aksum has countered by digging in. 2 men were killed yesterday when they were shot down by AA guns in Ethiopia. War seems inevitable.

New Flag
Today, Aksum officials declared the standard 3 color flag to be with a lion covering it. The lion represents our ferocity of Aksum and our people. Aksum has had two wars they have militarily been involved with, in the UFS and Ethiopia have been declared victories by the government, which may have been linked to lion being added to the flag.

The Parties have chosen:

Today was the official deadline for parties to chose their candidates. The three major parties announced their candidates. They will appear on all ballots in Aksum.

Aksumite Social Party: Harry Gallagher-A young distantly German upstart who leans more right than most of his party, but still wishes to bring more Socialist policies to the government. He stands against going to war with Assyria and is one of the driving forces for applying for membership status in STARO (Socialist Trade and Relations Organization).

National Democratic Party: Tesfa Alem-An elderly man from Asmara. His family has lived there almost since it's founding. He leans right, to a point and would increase military spending, and invade Assyria if they invade Iraq and Iran. He has been one of the top advisers to Mr. Kameer.

Aksum National Party: Mr. Kameer- He wishes to continue his policies.

Mr. Kameer's Big Secret
Mr. Kameer has recently stated that he is neither Christian or Islamic. An outtake from a speech made by the premier:

"...Also, I cannot continue my lie of being Islamic! I am not Islamic, or Christian, or Atheist. The majority of the people in Aksum are of these three major religions. I am from a minority. I am Mormon. I also cannot lie about my birth-place. I am from Utah. Salt Lake City, Utah. I am not from Asmara, or Somalia as many rumors have spoken. I am a loyal citizen of my people, of the Aksumites. My birthplace should have no matter, my religion not matter. Religion is not a form of government. Race is not a form of government. T hey have no effect!..."

Mr. Kameer Shot

Today, 24 men were apprehended after a plot by Communists to assassinate Mr. Kameer. Mr. Kameer was shot in the chest, and is on life support. His son, Michael Adul Kameer, is de facto leader of the government until his father recovers. The government suspect the men to be from Hiiraan, the Djiboutian States, and one from Babylon. Doctors have released no information on Mr. Kameer's condition. 2 of the men were arrested for killing Mr. Kameer's brother.

More Information on the Shooting
Apparently, the shooters were extremely right capitalists from Rhodesia, KaNgwane, Mfasaland, and the Confederate Republics. Mr. Kameer died today. The assassins killed his sons. Demissie Hagos has assumed command of the government. As you should know, he was Chief of the Interior.
