In 2003 following the collapse of various states in Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary a new nation was formed. The creation of Bundesrepublik Austria was the beginning of the new Escasnian state. During this time period the Austrian led government was held with low esteem by other nationalities and so when attacked by the Soviet Union in 2004 the nation collapsed due to infighting. After months of Soviet rule, the nation was rebounded by the Violette Republik, which staged the Violet Revolution against Soviet troops. With the collapsing Soviet Union moving into a reformed situation creating Borisgrad, there was little resistance to the Austrian revolutionaries. Together with the Czechs, a re-newed Hapsburg Monarchy was created. Yet again the Austrian led government led to infighting. On July 11th, 2006 the actions of revolutionaries had been successful. A new nation was born in the name of Escasnia. A democracy structured in a manner to represent all of the people of Escasnia. |

VIII. Economy |
|
Escasnia is one of the fastest growing nations in the world. As Central and Eastern Europe escaped the clutches of Communism, an new educated yet untapped market now existed. Economic activity has continued to grow in the information technology sector; however, a great number of jobs are still employed by the manufacturing industries. With the addition of coastal territories and ports in mid-2006 the nation was given shipping routes and increased amounts of trade occurred continuing to boost economic forecasts for the nation. Escasnia is still committed to its agricultural sector as it feeds a good amount of Europeans with the annual surpluses produced. |
