Afrikaaner Enclave is a small, isolationistic nation established in 1966. Based on the tenets of Apratheid taken to their logical extreme in an odd mix of ultraconservatism, calvinst christianity and boer separatism they were, at first, given semi-independent status. As apartheid was abolished in the remainder of South Africa in 1989 the republic of Afrikaaner Enclave (or RAE for shorrt) was declared a sovereign nation. The republic uses a parliamentary system with each political party recieving seats depending on the amount of votes it got. Elections are held every 5 years. Economy is based mostly on mining, refining and agricultural products. Being isolationistic, the RAE has a strong defensive military force. |
